The Wombats are a indie rock trio from Liverpool. They got to know each other at the LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) and released four records since they have formed in 2003. Bass player Tord Øverland-Knudsen is originally from Oslo, Norway, and moved to England to study at the university which was co-founded by Paul McCartney.
